You should do your chest and triceps in the same day.
I shouldn't do any particular muscle groups together. My mate Steve and I have experimented with doing back and biceps, chest and biceps, shoulders and biceps, triceps and chest, triceps and back... and there are particular reasons why we don't do traditional or well known muscle groups together.
For example: when doing chest and triceps on the same day we discovered that we'd get to muscle failure on chest and when trying triceps the triceps would be knackered so much so that we wouldn't be able to get a proper workout. Now you might argue that working until the muscle group doesn't work is the idea, but we couldn't focus and completely obliterate the muscle fibres effectively when doing triceps after chest.
So instead we tried biceps which are hardly engaged at all working the chest, and it worked fine.We could do full sets with biceps and full sets with chest without any problems. This allowed us to push each muscle group further, because we didn't have to worry about saving some strength for the second muscle group.
With this new method, the chest would take a few days to recover, whilst the triceps would ache slightly but they wouldn't have been worked to the extent that the chest was, and therefore there would be less rest time needed, allowing us to do triceps along with back two days later.

See, that's what I thought regarding the tri's and chest, why bother wasting on before you do the other? I think i'll mix it up, but my mate seems to think it's not the case. He is also completely able to fuck over both muscle groups in one day to an extreme degree, then again he is mega strong, twat.

Not managed to get there as much as possible this week or so. And, on top of that, it's bloody rammed and I mean RAMMED full of January starters. There are queues for everything meaning you could have gone cold by the time you're able for a run. Shite.

Off to the bat cave.
I went from 234 pounds to 220, stopped knocking shit out of the weights, then went to 210 in less than a month. I got measured five times to make sure, and it seems I've grown half an inch. Can't wait to start working out again tomorrow.

So hang on, you've lost weight since you stopped working out?

That's what I'm saying. Not eating right every day, more walking and work are the only things i can think of, yet i don't come close to breaking a sweat in work, and i only live 10 minutes from my house.

Yeah, the fact you are actually moving counts for loads. I was pretty fat until I got a job at 18, and within 6 weeks I was uber skinny. You burn fat all day, everyday, so this is added bonus. I'm 185 pounds apparently. You must be fat.

I was about 5'11 when i was 13 but barely grew after that. I had really terrible posture when i was younger, when i would sit at a desk, my head would be closer to the edge furthest away from my body than the one closest, and i would sit like that all day, every day in school, and a lot of the time when i got home. Since i was around 16 I've measured my height, and have been measured by others several times, and have always been 6 foot dead on. I've spent about 5-6 months doing the odd exercises to improve my posture, and trying not to hunch over when i walk, and now I'm just over 6 foot and a half
My Dad has shrunk half an inch since his prime, but still says he's 6'1 and a half, and my Brother says he's 6'2, but i think he's 6'3.

I used to have a terrible posture not too long ago. I think the change happened after I had finnished my diet (I went from around 118 kilos to flat 90) and shaved my head. I simply forced my shoulders back and always tried to walk and sit as straight as possible. And for this I had a somewhat annoying back ache for 2 or 3 months, but it passed. Didn't feel like seeing a doctor as I knew what was the cause; no wonder you feel some pain when you're suddenly walking straight after 5 years or so of hunching over.

I've not exercised in over two weeks due to alcohol and sore hands. My bicep peak is better than ever, and in particular, my triceps seem to have ballooned out of nowhere. I think when i get back into it i may just apply the odd extra day off.

Yeah you need the odd bit off to allow for growth. I have started a new workout thingy today and I was told as much by him. Every few weeks, just have a chill and let your body take things in.
